Managing Director of Operations

Richard was appointed as Managing Director of Operations for UNITE in 2011. His role involves leading on the customer service provided to our 40,000 customers, and managing the maintenance and facilities management across the Group’s nationwide property portfolio.

He joined UNITE as Deputy Chief Financial Officer in 2010. This role had a broad Finance and Operations remit, including overall responsibility for the Group’s London operations.

Prior to joining UNITE Richard spent a total of 18 years in the transport industry; 13 of which were at National Express Group, where he held a range of senior finance, strategy and operations roles in the UK and overseas, including Group Development Director and Chief Financial Officer North America.
