Unite Students strike gold – 16 May 2016

Unite Students, the UK’s leading developer and manager of student accommodation, has been awarded Gold Status from Investors in People (liP). This accolade marks Unite out as a company that offers a great place to work with a clear commitment to developing employees. 

Unite gained its initial IiP accreditation in 2008, followed by the silver award in 2011 for demonstrating a continuous improvement approach to all people matters/HR processes. Achieving Gold standard follows a comprehensive audit by liP assessors who evaluated Unite’s performance and approach to its workforce.

As well as employee interviews, engagement survey scores were scrutinised, digital channels assessed, and team meetings were attended to see first-hand how the business shares information, celebrates success and shares Unite’s vision and ambitions for the future.
